Image Gauteng Shared Services (GSSC), implemented SAP Supllier Relationship Management (SRM), to automate and optimise central procurement transactional processes so as to allow the GSSC to be in a position to implement decentralized operational procurement with the guarantee of regulatory compliance through the use of contract management, supplier self registration, streamlined tendering process and catalogue management.

The GSSC manages its Procure-to-Pay process using a number of systems and processes. The SAP R/3 Materials Management (MM) component forms the backbone of this process augmented by the use of SRM, SRM SUS for Supllier Self registration and non-SAP systems to manage their sourcing, contract management processes and catalogue.

Xicon consultants architected and project managed the integration of these disparate systems using the SAP Exchange Infrastructure platform. Integration interfaces utilised included HTTP, RFC, Proxies, and FTP to seamlessly integrate the systems.

Image The implementation at Standard Bank SA involved the following activities:
  • Introduce SAP Business Partner (BP), as the master database of all customer-related data for the Bank’s full customer base across all products
  • Configure and integrate SAP BP with 94+ product/partner systems
  • Produce a common facility and process across all customer related systems for creating, searching, amending and deleting of customer and related data.
Xicon consultants were involved with integration architecture, project managed the XI integration stream, designed and developed 32+ syncrhonous and asynchronous interfaces to integrate and synchronise information between some 43 product/partner systems.

Non-Netweaver Integration Projects:

Over the years our consultants have implemented integration solutions using various integration platforms and tools (such as  Websphere Business Integrator, Seeburger, WebMethods, etc.) at customer sites, including these listed below:
